Our take on Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales
Microsoft now calls this the Sales agent: it surfaces Dynamics 365 Sales or Salesforce data inside Outlook and Teams for email drafting, call insights, and next steps. That it works with Salesforce, not only Dynamics, is in our view its most underrated detail. Licensing requirements apply and it is not available on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premises.
Our take on Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales docs
Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales lets sellers ask about records, prep for meetings, read account news, and pull information from SharePoint. Microsoft says the Sales agent is the evolution of this experience and will become the preferred way to access Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales. In our view new rollouts should plan around the Sales agent.
